I wish I could be that smart Took me a year to sand and paint my window frames and I’m just talking about my front windows . Restoring an old Derelict takes a lot of vision and of course love ,this place now is a landmark of dedication toil strife focus and hard work , to make a home for youngsters is an inspiration to building a family well done Brilliant effort.

This is stunning, what an incredible feeling to know you both had a dream and worked hard to bring it to life. This is such a beautiful home. Wow. Very nice to see young people that can actually ‘do’ for themselves & Family.. That place is beautiful; it looks so warm and comfortable. Wow. So glad that things aren’t new and matching. That would not fit in and give the house the warm and loving feel that it gives.( Even over the video).. It’s glorious!! I’d love to have done that 30 years ago, but didn’t have a willing and creative enough partner – what a blessing!. Absolutely fantastic! Total respect to the whole family . So very well done! Your hard graft paid off! What a beautiful individual home it has become in a gorgeous setting.

Could beat that, my parents’ house took my father May 1952-Christmas 1970. He did everything himself except plastering-wiring, stripped and screeded every wall, suspended ceilings in half the rooms, new windows throughout, a fitted kitchen. lots of magic and love in building a home with your own hands, in turning a derelict place in a solid, happy home. well done. I love it one of a kind and tastefully done. Now, I want a husband that says “hoose”. Homes speak what they want done to them thats when it all comes together. Nothing forced. Theyre the beautiful homes. This was the most amazing one in the programme and lovely couple and her hubbies accent was so sublime. It should’ve won. I so admire people who take on projects like this. It is beautiful!. You should be really proud of yourselves, it looks beautiful. Well done ! It’s marvellous
